About them jugs

Dear kids,

Very glad to see these near-empty jugs in the fridge. It shows me that you were thinking of me, that you really wanted me to be the one to have those last few drops of juice. That means so much.

I realize what would have happened had you filled your glass a quarter inch higher. It would have fallen on you to flatten the jug and put it in recycling. What’s worse is that you might have been called to take it outside to the big recycling bin

Let’s be honest. We were staring into the dark depths of a catastrophe tonight, until we were rescued by your quick thinking.

BTW. I bought you home an eye dropper to spread the remaining milk over your breakfast cereal.

It’s the least I could do.
